This is a guide on how defeat The Boss's Elite Team COBRA use these tips and it will be rather easy to defeat them including The Boss

The Pain


Fall down into the cave after fighting with Ocelot; The Pain will appear after you have gone through the caves tunnels it took me quite a while to find the pain But he is located near the waterfall when you turn right. The Pain uses his hornets to both attack Snake and protect himself. His attacks can be dodged by diving underwater and evading the hornets I got in to a good position behind the rock where I was able to easily throw grenades and fire my shotgun at him. Throw grenades at him to make his Hornet barrier break apart. When the hornets disappear from his body, shoot at him with your Current weapon I dont think trainquilizer guns work so I prefer the shotgun. After his health reaches halfway, the hornets will attack you to the point where they will stay in your body. If you are attacked by these hornets, you will need to extract them from your body with the knife to do this Go to your survival viewer and select CURE after that press R1 to select the knfife and roll over where the hornets are then extract them. Continue attacking him with grenades and the shotgun until he dies. If he throws his hornet grenade you wont be able to dodge it unless going underwater.

The Fear


At the beginning of the match make sure to remove the poison arrow the fear threw at you or your health will continually drop. The Fear uses stealth camouflage and jumps from tree to tree while eventually attacking you head-on.To easily spot the fear be aware that when he is in the trees he will have an eletricity pattern going through his body and when he drops down you will see a faint dust along with footprints use these to your advantage. Be quick with your weapon and shoot him he jumps to branches pretty quick. The weapon you choose is up to you; it merely depends on what you have available. When his stamina runs down, he will need to eat. While he is eating there is a chance that a snake could bite him and inject venom use this to your advantage as his stamina and health will decrease making it more likely to shoot him.






The End



When fighting The End make note that if you stay in one spot he will some how creep up on you and shoot you if this happens make use of your CQC but be aware this is really hard to perform correctly, also being said that do not run around like an idiot he will easily spot and kill you. Make use of your AP sensors and sonar. Do not use your scope goggles too much apparently zooming on him makes him more aware to your location and he will move out of that spot.Prepare yourself for a long battle when you encounter The End. The area in which you fight The End is extremely large, and your goal is to find him somewhere in the mountains and trees.
He hides in wait for you and will try to snipe you. Because of the nature of this fight, it could take 30 minutes to 2 hours to defeat him. Sometimes The End may fall asleep this is a VERY good chance to shoot him make sure you dont miss or you will miss this chance. Also for some strange reason if you capture his parrot and throw it somewhere he will come for it do not let him spot you, make use of this time and shoot him with your shotgun Using the thermal goggles may help, but be quick: He changes locations after you shoot him. There are alternative ways to kill The End one is when hes at the warehouse you can kill him while hes sleeping in his wheelchair and anotherway is saving the game once the battle begins then set your PS2 time to like a month or year and you will see a cutscene of him dieing from old age.

The Fury


Follow the underground tunnel in Groznyj Grad to find The Fury. He is easier to defeat once you recognize his pattern of movement around the area. Use either the shotgun or rifle on him when he is open for attack other guns may do very little damage against him. He uses flame attacks which cause burn damage go to your survival viewer then select the CURE and remove the burn wounds depending on how severe the wound is will cause your maximum life to drop, Also if you get lit on fire do a summersault and roll out the fire. If he is far away, it is possible to shoot him with the sniper rifle but very difficult. Do these steps and the battle should be finished rather quickly.

The Sorrow


The Sorrow boss battle can be "beaten" in 2 different ways.

If you want the Sorrow's camo, which ( is very useful) eliminates all noise you make when you move, simply walk to the end of the river and reach The Sorrow's floating corpse. When you do this, Snake dies. However, unlike normal deaths, you can stil access your menu for some reason, hold L2, select the Revival Pill and use it. Then you get The Sorrow's camo.

However, if you simply want to pass the battle, either simply drown Snake at the beginning, or purposefully walk into the ghosts which plague the river. Either way, Snake will die, use the Pill, and job done.

However, do note that the ghosts who populate the river directly correspond with the number of enemies you have killed during the course of the game, so be careful if you've been killing tons of enemys, since you'll have a lot of dodging to do if you want that camo.

Also If you kill the other members of the COBRA unit, you'll see their bodies float down the river as well.





Get to the end of the game to fight The Boss. There are only 10 minutes available to fight her or else the place gets bombed, so speed is a necessary skill. Choose your camouflage and face paint at the start, to make it harder for her to find Snake but only hide after doing a barrage of attacks or if she is coming or else you will waste time. Find a hiding spot in the field and use the thermal goggles or AP sensor to try and find The Boss. Snipe her from a distance, but be careful, as she will eventually find you. It is possible to do CQC attacks on her, but it is very difficult to perform as she knows how to dodge them. Be careful when she finds you; she will shout something(Which is your warning) and then attack you head-on, possibly injuring Snake and you will have to cure your deep cuts and wounds. It may take some tries to get used to her movements they are pretty skilled and random, but always be aware of the time frame.
